QuickBooks Integration — Terms of Use & Privacy
This page governs The Good Studio's private QuickBooks Online integration.
Last updated: June 11, 2026
About This Integration
The Good Studio LLC, a Wyoming limited liability company ("The Good Studio," "we," "us"), operates a private, unlisted application that connects to QuickBooks Online via Intuit's API. The application is not distributed through the QuickBooks App Store and is not offered for general public use. It exists solely to deliver contracted automation and operations services to The Good Studio and its consulting clients.
Scope of Use
Use of the application is limited to The Good Studio and businesses that have engaged The Good Studio under a written services agreement. No license is granted to any other party, and the application may not be redistributed, resold, or sublicensed.
The application is provided "as is," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, to the maximum extent permitted by law. The Good Studio's liability related to the application is governed by the applicable client services agreement; in the absence of one, liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Authorization & Client Control
Connections to a client's QuickBooks Online company are established only with explicit authorization by the client's QuickBooks administrator, through Intuit's OAuth consent flow.
Clients may revoke access at any time from within QuickBooks Online (Settings → Apps) or by written request to The Good Studio. Upon termination of an engagement, The Good Studio disconnects the integration and ceases API access to the client's company.
Data We Access
The integration accesses QuickBooks data only as needed to deliver contracted services — typically customers, invoices, payments, items and services, and related accounting records. Data is accessed programmatically to automate workflows, such as creating invoices, recording and reconciling payments, and syncing customer records.
Data Handling & Privacy
- Data accessed via the QuickBooks API is used solely to perform the contracted services. It is never sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing.
- Data may transit or be processed by infrastructure The Good Studio uses to deliver services, such as workflow automation and database hosting providers. Subprocessors are used only as needed to provide the service.
- Credentials and API tokens are stored securely and are not shared.
- Data is retained only as long as needed to deliver the services or as required by the client agreement, then deleted upon request or at the end of the engagement.
- The Good Studio follows Intuit's developer and platform policies.
